Online application for certificate equivalency

This online certificate equivalency system has been established for all students with a foreign high school diploma or those attending foreign high school, who wish to request actual Equivalence Certificate or Provisional Equivalence Certificate, in order to apply for an international undergraduate program.

Applicants from international programs in high school or students from overseas who intend to apply for an international program in TCAS system must submit the proof of high school graduation and grade. However, different international systems have different certificates and grade systems. The HSCES here will help issuing the equivalence document. There are 3 types of documents.

  1. An equivalence of high school certificate: for applicants who already graduated from high schools.
  2. A provisional certificate: for applicants who are studying in the last semester/term of their high schools.
  3. A certificate of GPAX: an equivalent to 4.0 grade system for applicants who are studying in the last semester/term of their high schools as well as the one who are already graduated.

To receive the above certificates, applicants must be qualified and submit the required documents. The requirements for 5 well-known systems are explained below. For any other international curricula, not listed here, please refer to the Announcement from the Ministry of Education on Overseas High School Equivalence Dated 18 January 2002.
